Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for reviewing and verifying the final edited or proofread materials to ensure they meet their needs and requirements. Lectio Guardians is not responsible for any errors or inaccuracies that may have been present in the original materials.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
The services provided by Lectio Guardians do not constitute legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is established between Lectio Guardians and its clients.
Governing Law
This disclaimer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

PURPOSE:
Lectio Guardians is committed to protecting the confidentiality and security of client data. This policy outlines our approach to handling personal and sensitive information.

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and clients of LECTIO GUARDIANS.

DATA PROTECTION PRINCIPLES
CONFIDENTIALITY:
We ensure that all client data is kept confidential and secure. We collect personally identifiable information; name, email, communications, payment details, comments, live recordings, feedback, reviews, recommendations and personal profile.
When a client conduct a transaction after service delivery, or as part of the process, we collect personal information that the client give us such as the clients name, address, email address and contact number. The clients personal info will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.
Lectio Guardians also collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:
1. To provide and operate the service;
2. To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and support;
3. To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and messages;
4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services;
5. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations, such as the POPI act of the Republic of South Africa.

We ensure that client data is available to authorized personnel when needed.

We do not share client data with third parties without prior consent.

Clients have the right to access their data. Lectio Guardians may contact a client to poll their opinions through surveys or questionnaires and to send updates about the company.
CORRECTION:
Clients have the right to correct errors in their data.
DELETION:
Clients have the right to request deletion of their data.
BREACH NOTIFICATION
In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected clients promptly and take steps to mitigate any harm.
We may contact a client to notify a client regarding an account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, or as otherwise necessary to contact a client to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with a client. For these purposes we may contact a client via email, telephone or text messages.
TRAINING AND AWARENESS
We provide regular training and awareness programs for employees and contractors on data protection and confidentiality.
REVIEW AND UPDATE
This policy will be reviewed and updated regularly to ensure it remains effective and compliant with relevant laws and regulations. We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, and it remains the clients responsibility to review the policy frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If Lectio Guardians make material changes to this policy, we will notify our clients here that it has been updated, so that our clients are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If any client wish to: access, correct, amend or delete any personal information we have about the client, we may be contacted at lectioguardians@gmail.com.
Entire Agreement
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Lectio Guardians and its clients and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings.
